We are based in Orleans County of New York State. The CPIA was established in the winter of 2001. We are a not for profit group which investigates and researches alleged paranormal and supernatural events. We use scientific methods to record and evaluate these phenomena. We investigate residential and public cases as well as government and municipal cases. The CPIA is a New York State representative for the WWPRC (World Wide Paranormal Reporting Center): WWPRC.COM, a New York State Representative for AAOPR (American Association for Paranormal Research): AAOPR.COM, as well as members of the TAPS Family of paranormal researchers. The TAPS Family is a collective of about 90 paranormal groups throughout the United States and other countries.
