Mystic Mississippi Paranormal Society (MysticPara)

Mystic Para was founded in January 8th of 2008 by Terry and Jennifer Sweeney. We currently have 12 investigators on our team. Some of our team members have years of experience, some are just beginning.

As a group we have completed over 170 investigations of both private residences and historical sites, and host of the "Ghost Hunting Experience" a event thats given every October. (Note: MysticPara only displays photos or video on this website by written permission of the client) Our group strives for the highest level of professionalism. Our main goal is to find scientific and logical explanations for paranormal claims. We attempt to recreate and debunk all reported activity before deeming something paranormal in origin.

Cases involving children take top priority with MysticPara. Many of our team members are parents. It do not believe any child should not live in fear, especially in his or her own home.

All information given to us by a client or research done by Mystic Para pertaining to a case, remains strictly confidential. Sensitive cases are conducted by MysticPara founding members only and hand pick team members.

MysticPara exists to help those in need of understanding, verification and investigation of paranormal events. We use proven methods to locate and document paranormal activity or disprove it. We use the most cutting edge equipment, including the latest night vision technology, still and video digital and film cameras, digital and tape voice recorders, K2, tri-field meters, Digital Dowsing equipment, EMF meters, Ovilous and EVP real time listeners, and DVR Systems. All investigations are free of charge and donations are not accepted or expected. Clients will be given a copy of evidence on CD at the post-investigation meeting and a 2 month a follow-up call to determine if further investigation is needed.
