| Dead House Paranormal is a paranormal investigation group that was founded in the summer of 2008. It was first founded off of curiosity that quickly developed into an odd hobby, then developed into something we wanted to turn official. So far we have been limited to traveling to places in Mississippi, Alabama, Louisiana, and Tennessee due to being mostly poor college students. Despite not having the funds or much support in our investigations, we have gone through great lengths in researching locations and going to them when we have the means.
Dead House takes our investigations very seriously. While we enjoy it as a hobby, we do not treat it lightly. We can promise you there will be no editing of images, videos, or sound clips. We also do not approve of vandalism of any of the sites we visit and in no way harm the sites we visit. We take nothing from any site nor do we leave anything behind. We respect each location and encourage others to do the same, whether abandoned or not.
We, ourselves, are skeptical of a lot of the other paranormal investigation groups out there for the same reason that you are probably skeptical of us. All we can do is assure you that we want to find out what’s out there – if anything. We are all searching to see if the paranormal exists. As of now, most of us have yet to experience anything that would make us 100% believe, or capture any undeniable evidence. A quote said to one of the members of the team by a skeptic was, “extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, and biases are rampant in human based observation”. We don’t say anything paranormal exists for certain, but we also don’t rule out the chance that it may. We, like many others, are on a search for evidence towards it ourselves. It may be “weird” to some of you, or even make some people uncomfortable. We do this for our own beliefs, to find our own answers, and for our own interests. We don’t expect to be accepted by everyone, and some would even ridicule us for “wasting our time with this”. Maybe one day we’ll manage to catch that one piece of undeniable evidence. Wish us luck. |
