| We are a multidisciplinary group that focuses on serious and truthful examination of the Paranormal and related phenomena. We believe Science and Spirit can meet on a common ground, free of the stigma and drama that has become such a plague in the paranormal field. RAPS conducts various seminars throughout the year to help educate and inform the general public. Other activities include an annual Haunted Tour of Downtown Potsdam, NY. Hosting charitable events to help raise funds for local Charities is one of our main goals as a group. We also hope to partner with local educational institutions to provide classes and paranormal opportunities for community youth. | |

| Rise Above Paranormal Society was founded to promote education and advancement within the paranormal community - not outdated notions, faking of evidence and petty drama. We welcome the discussion of scientific equipment as well as the impressions of psychics and Mediums. This is a non-judgemental group and inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated. Honest and truthful examination of the paranormal and the unseen world around us is what we value most. | |
